In order to have a transformed society of people who respect, defend and actualize women’s rights, first and foremost there is need for communities to be empowered on the said rights and capacity build to demand their realization from duty bearers. The National Civic Education program and Gender & Governance Program among others have proved to be of great importance in empowering women, youth and men through community mobilization, debates and forums.
