No girl sat KCPE at five primary schools in Kinango District this year.
Early marriages are to blame for this, Coast Provincial Director of Education Connie Mogaka has said.
Following the disclosure, Forestry and Wildlife Minister Noah Wekesa urged parents not to discriminate against girls.He offered to support a Standard Six pupil at Bumburi Primary School complete school.
"I am parent just like you.Tell me where you take your girls?They should be supported like boys," he told parents at the school.
Head teacher Ramadhan Nyamawi told the minister that many parents had ignored girls' education.
Dr Wekesa was officiating the handing over of the school built by the Kenya Wildlife Service at Shs 2. I million, on Monday.

Kinango DC Apollo Okello said the Government would carry out a census to ascertain how many children attend school. "We shall use chiefs and any parent found keeping children at home will face the law," he said.
